DESCRIPTION:

This 60-acre site, located in the shadow of the Shawangunk mountain range in upstate New York, will bring a new home to a national cultural institution with a focus on environmental stewardship, ecological restoration, and the use of renewable resources as a driver for site organization and building design. The site will be broken down into 3 critical areas: Cultural Engagement, Natural Landscape, and Education Learning & Growth. The site includes cultural and worship facilities, housing, and dining facilities. This project continues our work with environmental restoration and community building, as well as putting emphasis on building natural structures that minimize their impact on our environment.
