Description:

As Principal-in-Charge at Grimshaw Architects, David led the design and delivery of the Brodhead Center for Campus Life at Duke University. He managed the design team from the design inception through the delivery of the finished building. The design of the building is open and transparent and welcomes in students from all four sides, promoting community gathering and social interaction on campus. It includes student gathering spaces, independent restaurant environments, activity areas, and event spaces. The building has won several architectural and engineering awards.
