DESCRIPTION:
As a small start-up business, DBA did what most would do—set up shop in the garage.  For the architecture firm’s first few years, a small detached garage was home to weekly deadlines, conference calls, a small army of employees, and many creative ideas! The space quickly became multifunctional to accommodate the many needs and uses of a growing office. Hot desks, Wi-Fi connectivity, and plenty of power provided a versatile and productive space for visitors and employees alike. Open space, natural light, heating/cooling, and good ventilation were all cornerstones to what made “the studio” an effective and comfortable place to work. It continues to be a design inspiration for the new hybrid office era.
